QUALITY DOES NOT COME FROM NOTHING
Our customers are renowned companies; some of them are global market leaders. Thus, it is a matter of course that we, as a supplier, are involved in QA processes. We apply our customers’ process specs and see to a complete documentation. This loyalty guarantees our customers smooth production processes and us an always above-average rating in our business partners’ supplier management systems.
Furthermore, we also have defined quality principles linked to strategic objectives and leading to specific quality measures, which are regularly communicated and monitored. These include the sustainability of lime deposits, a permanent optimisation of our processes in terms of customers, market and environmental requirements, a qualified and quality-conscious staff and internal and external communication management guidelines.
Sharing our objectives and having defined processes, we are able to meet the QM standard DIN EN ISO 9001, the QA standard and the HACCP concept in all segments.
PUTTING PEOPLE FIRST
Health is the most important thing there is. We therefore care very much about our staff. None of our plants poses a chemical hazard to its surroundings. But heavy machinery and large-size facilities require a disciplined protection of our staff and visitors. All stages of a process are thus clearly defined and monitored at all times.
And our responsibility does not stop with protecting people’s health and lives. Our staff’s emotional well-being is also important to us. We therefore cultivate a familial company culture, based upon respect and solidarity. This collegial atmosphere is an important foundation of our success.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND NATURE CONSERVATION
As a lime works, we are dependent upon deposits. If you will, we owe them our living. It is thus a matter of course that we use these natural resources sparingly. This philosophy includes a sustainable quarrying and ecological production processes, noise control, dust protection and air pollution control plus renaturation and re-use concepts. Some of our quarries that we actively manage ourselves are indeed the habitat of many a life form that finds ideal conditions here.
